The Clean Ohio Fund Green Space Conservation Program’s District Six Natural Resource Assistance Council (NRAC) will hold their Program Year 2022-2023 annual meeting at Eastgate on Friday, September 16th, 2022.  NRAC members will meet to elect a chairperson and vice chairperson for the program year and discuss program related business.

The Clean Ohio Conservation Fund program was established in 2000 by the voters of Ohio to provide local communities monetary assistance to preserve open space, protect sensitive ecosystems, expand local park footprints, and restore streams through a local process.  Mahoning and Trumbull counties comprise District Six, with Eastgate being the local administrator of the funds. Members of NRAC are responsible for allocating the funds made available by the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC).
