Eastgate’s Broadband Coordinator, Steve Kristan, talks with WFMJ Today’s Steve Vesey promoting Thursday’s BroadbandOhio Listening Session in the valley. The event will be held right here at Eastgate Regional Council of Governments, located at 100 E. Federal Street, Suite 1000, Youngstown, OH 44503.
The event is a great opportunity for residents of the Eastgate Region (Ashtabula, Mahoning, & Trumbull Counties) to come out and connect with local and state leaders on the digital equity and broadband infrastructure needs of their communities. Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Local Government Officials, Non-Profit leaders, and the general public are all welcome to join in on the discussion. The schedule for Thursday’s event is as follows:
- 10:30 a.m. – Businesses and Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
- 1 p.m. – Local Government
- 2:30 p.m. – Nonprofits and Community Organizations
- 4 p.m. – Ohio Residents
