You're invited to participate in a Steering Committee for the Regional Housing Study for Mahoning & Trumbull Counties, which Eastgate has commissioned with Greater Ohio Policy Center and Reinvestment Fund. The initial meeting is estimated to be about 2 hours and split into two separate parts. The first hour will be an overview of the project to date and a timeline for completion.
The second part will be those willing to stay and discuss the details of the Market Value Analysis (MVA) part of a regional housing study. Our partners at Reinvestment Fund have conducted MVAs in over 40 different places across the country to help them understand the contours of their local real estate markets (https://www.reinvestment.com/research/market-value-analysis/). A critical piece of this process is the active engagement of a Steering Committee of public and private sector stakeholders with knowledge and experience working in local real estate markets.
The first Steering Committee for the Mahoning & Trumbull Counties MVA is scheduled for Thursday, November 9th and will be held at The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (Main) 305 Wick Ave, Youngstown, OH 44503 starting at 9:30 AM. It would be great if you could attend this initial meeting in person to meet the broader study team and begin contributing to this process.
