The deadline for submissions has been extended for this Request for Proposals regarding the Predesign Phase and Sediment Analysis for the future Valley Mould Dam Removal Project.
Eastgate Regional Council of Governments (Eastgate) is the Water Quality Management Agency for Mahoning County and Trumbull County in Northeast Ohio. Eastgate is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional consultative services for the Predesign Phase and Sediment Analysis for the future Valley Mould Dam Removal Project. The purpose of this request for proposals (RFP) is to provide interested qualified firms with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for a services agreement.
The primary goal of the Predesign Phase and Sediment Analysis is to gain insight into existing conditions of the area and the characteristics of the sediment residing at the project site. These findings will support and assist in future phases of the project: preliminary design, final design and ultimate demolition of the Valley Mould Dam. The Owner anticipates multiple components to this requested work, including but not limited to, bathymetric surveys, topographic surveys, hydraulic modeling, sediment transport analysis, sediment analysis, and project site/alternatives evaluation.
