Clean Ohio Green Space Conservation Fund- Round 14 (PY 2019-2020)

Eastgate announces Round 14 of the Clean Ohio Green Space Conservation Funds is now underway.  Available funds for Round 14 total over $1 million. Application materials for this round are available on Eastgate’s website, Full applications will be accepted through 3pm on Friday, January 17th, 2020.  Applications received after the 3pm deadline will not be accepted.

The Clean Ohio Conservation Fund program was established in 2001 by the voters of Ohio to provide local communities monetary assistance to preserve open space, protect sensitive ecosystems, expand local park footprints, and restore streams through a local process.  Mahoning and Trumbull counties comprise District 6, with Eastgate being the local administrator of the funds.

Eligible applicants for Clean Ohio Funds include local political subdivisions and nonprofit organizations.  Eligible projects under the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund include Open Space acquisition and related development of those spaces and protection and enhancement (including restoration) of riparian corridors or watersheds.
