Sep 09, 2020

The District Six Natural Resource Assistance Council (NRAC) will hold their annual meeting on Friday, September 10th, 2020 to elect the chairperson and vice chairperson for Round 15 of the Clean Ohio Fund Green Space Conservation Program and discuss other program related business. Due to COVID restrictions, the meeting will be held virtually.  Anyone wishing to listen to the meeting can do so by contacting Stephanie Dyer at for meeting information.

The Clean Ohio Conservation Fund program was established in 2000 by the voters of Ohio to provide local communities monetary assistance to preserve open space, protect sensitive ecosystems, expand local park footprints, and restore streams through a local process.  Mahoning and Trumbull counties comprise District Six, with Eastgate being the local administrator of the funds. Members of NRAC are responsible for allocating the funds made available by the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC).
